Guild Charter Membership Guidelines and Bylaws

A guild is a like-minded group of players coming together for the purpose of having a good time. For some, that good time is only achieved by mastery of the game and the domination of other players as well as the environment. Others are just looking for the modern equivalent of the corner bar. But the point is ultimately to enjoy yourself, and help the other members have as much fun as possible. As a member of this guild, we ask that you do the following. If you do not think you can hold to these guidelines, please do not accept the terms and go your way in peace. If, after joining you feel that other members are not following these guidelines, please contact our guild mistress, jandshyne.

First and foremost we are a friendly guild; we WILL NOT tolerate abuse of other players, and especially not guild members or allies!! This includes spam PVP attacks, chat or PM harassment, foul language, FSBOX abuse, excessive forum posting for items, gold, FSP, etc... Please be mature and respectful at ALL times and treat people the way you wish to be treated. If someone has to block you from PM the founders may intervene.

Other important rules follow below:

1.      If you PVP for ANY reason and don't send back the gold LOST to you're on your own. We will defend any guild member being singled out for PVP attacks unfairly but you reap what you sow.  If you are attacking someone for PVP gain you'll decrease your odds for a bounty if you send back ALL gold lost and message them FIRST to get their permission. We will NOT tolerate spam attacks on ANY game player, PERIOD.

2.      Donations MUST be made twice weekly. Donations can be made through a founder, but you must post on the donation forum with the information from your donation for tracking purposes.

3.      You must gain 2 levels a week minimum. Donations go to maintaining our structures which benefit each of us; likewise XP goes to our ranking and why start a guild if you're not aiming for that #1 spot?

4.      Guild members most follow ALL HCS rules, including duplicate/multiple accounts, swearing, avatar abuse, etc...

5.      Joining the forum is a requirement, if you don't join the forum you get kicked. Rule changes, news, contests, donations, shout outs, etc... are posted there.

6.      Items in the guild store are property of the guild as is the gold in the bank. We WILL NOT tolerate thievery. If you steal from the guild you will be removed and we will spread the word.

7.      You are subject to the guild tax which covers structure costs, and upgrade costs. FSP donations are always appreciated but are not required.

8.      NO BEGGING!! This includes begging for equipment, buffs, gold, and/or FSP. Ask once and if someone has it they'll help you, if they can't buff you it's probably because their stamina is low or they've stepped away from their keyboard, please consider this.

9.      If you are able to buff yourself please do so before asking other members, it costs them unnecessary stamina and it's not fair for you to save your stamina and cost them theirs. This will NOT be tolerated.

10.  In a GVG conflict we will not tolerate a higher level player from our guild picking off the lower level players or inactive members from the opposing guild. This is just poor form. Please choose an opponent as near to your level/strength as possible. Exceptions are of course made if the challenging guild is short on members and we have no choice. Likewise, please don't start conflicts with much smaller guilds; our GVG rating isn't so important we should be bullies.

11.  Please be sure to limit the level of group members; if a lower level player won't help in the group conflict. We won't tolerate abuse of a group member if they cause you to lose; you have the ability to choose who enters your group so please use that ability wisely. Likewise if you're a level 10 and the member starting the group is much higher, please ask in chat or in PM if they think they can use your strength. It could be they just need a slight boost or it could be they need a MUCH stronger boost so please be courteous in those cases.

12.  We do not require the sharing of gear or buffs but please keep in mind where you were when you started. If you paid greatly for the gear of course auction it, but if you won it and want to share it with someone below you please do so!

13.  DO NOT use the guild store for junk. If you don't want them either auction them or drop them.  If you want to donate something please send it to jandshyne and she will either tag it or auction it for guild armory funding.  DO NOT fill the last guild store slot. This is your ONLY warning. That slot MUST be left open for quest items dropped in a group attack. In those cases the group leader is the ONLY one able to remove that item without the permission of the group leader AND a founder. This again goes to thievery and will NOT be tolerated. If you use the last store slot to store an item it will be removed and either auctioned for guild profit or destroyed at the founders' discretion. Repeated violations of this rule will result in a warning, de-ranking, or a kick from the guild.

14.  PLEASE understand the founder, co-founders, and other members have lives outside of FS. Hard to believe I know, BUT very true. If we don't get to you right away please be patient and we will get there. We won't leave you hanging indefinitely. If you make repeated requests in PM, on the forum, or in chat you will be warned, de-ranked, and eventually kicked because we just don't have time to sort through repeated requests and it's not fair to us.

15.  Above all HAVE FUN!! Make friends, help newer players, be respectful, and remember it's just a game! You'll find your founders to be very friendly respectful people if you follow the rules and treat them with the same respect.  :)
